Political Coalitions & Alliances
Liberian law permits registered political parties to form coalitions and alliances for the purpose of contesting elections. All coalitions must be formally registered with the NEC and comply with applicable regulations.

Coalition Requirements
Formation
All member parties must be registered with NEC. The coalition agreement must be signed by authorized representatives of each member party and filed with the Commission.
Governance
The coalition must have a clear governance structure, including leadership selection, decision-making processes, and dispute resolution mechanisms among member parties.
Compliance
Coalitions must comply with all regulations applicable to political parties, including campaign finance reporting, code of conduct, and NEC regulations.
