The National Elections Commission has completed a nationwide distribution exercise, delivering essential electoral materials and administrative supplies to all 15 county offices. The distribution, carried out over a two-week period, ensures that county offices are fully equipped to support upcoming voter engagement and preparatory activities for the 2029 election cycle.
Materials Distributed
The distribution included voter education materials in English and local languages, office supplies and communication equipment, IT hardware for data management, training manuals for county staff, and public information banners and posters for community awareness activities.
"Strengthening our county offices is fundamental to our mission. These offices are the frontline of our service delivery to citizens across Liberia." — NEC Operations Director
The logistics operation involved coordination with county magistrates, the Liberia National Police for security escorts, and commercial transport providers. All deliveries were documented and receipted to ensure accountability.
County Readiness
With the materials now in place, county offices are being prepared for the voter registration update exercise planned for 2027. County Elections Magistrates will conduct local inventories and submit readiness reports to headquarters by January 2026.
